FAQ

Helpful answers before buying.

Is this device for beginners?

Yes. It is useful for beginners learning about RF, NFC, RFID, infrared, GPIO, and cybersecurity concepts. Some advanced functions may require technical knowledge or firmware setup.

Does the range always reach 250 meters?

No. RF range depends on the antenna, environment, obstacles, signal type, firmware, and local restrictions. The listed range should be treated as a best-case testing condition, not a guaranteed result.

Can I install custom firmware?

The device is designed for open-source firmware experimentation. Compatibility depends on the exact firmware version and device configuration.

What is this device used for?

It is intended for education, authorized signal analysis, hardware research, and cybersecurity learning. Do not use it on systems, devices, or signals without permission.

Steven

Just like the flipper zero, just a bit more affordable. Came in with firmware, flashed it with momentum. It was giving me issues with flashing but finally got it. Shipping does take a while since it comes from china. I would still buy it again!

V
Very unhappy
Terrible

Terrible. No WiFi and no ont let me update or fix it. Took my money. Says Secure Enclave is damaged. You owe me another one.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry for the confusion.

The device is not damaged. The “Secure Enclave” message is an error shown by the original firmware, but it does not mean the hardware is broken. The device should still work normally.

About WiFi: this device currently does not include WiFi features like Flipper Zero. We are working on improving the firmware, and WiFi support may be added in a future update.

Please send us a short video showing the issue so we can check it and guide you with the correct firmware/update steps.

Best regards,
M5Shark Support
